Dr. David Joseph
Born to immigrant parents from Egypt, David’s parents dedicated themselves to giving their three sons the best that Australia had to offer. From an early age, David dreamed of becoming a dentist and owning his own practice. However, after high school, he initially chose a different path and studied podiatry, working as a podiatrist for several years.
Despite his success in podiatry, David’s passion for dentistry never faded. In pursuit of his dream, he applied as a mature-age student to Charles Sturt University and completed his dental studies in Orange, NSW. Throughout his career, David has gained extensive experience working in public dentistry, with the Royal Flying Doctors, and in rural communities, which helped shape his comprehensive approach to patient care.
After returning to Melbourne, David worked at a large private dental clinic, where he honed the skills and knowledge that have shaped him into the expert dentist he is today. In 2021, David met Debbie, the love of his life, and they married in 2022. They welcomed their baby boy, Levi, in 2024, marking a beautiful new chapter for their family.
Together, David and Debbie founded MODA with a shared vision: to provide patients with expert dental care in a warm, welcoming environment. Their goal is to empower patients with knowledge and choices, helping them achieve the best aesthetic outcomes while prioritising their overall health and well-being.
Dr. Naseem Golshan
Dr Naseem’s passion for dentistry began at a young age. Inspired by her childhood dentist and her own experiences as a patient, she developed a deep appreciation for quality dental care and a strong commitment to giving back to her community.
Known for her gentle touch and compassionate approach, Naseem takes the time to ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and completely at ease throughout their treatment. Naseem earned her Bachelor of Dental Science from Charles Sturt University in Orange. Since graduating, she has worked across regional NSW and along Australia’s Eastern and Southern coastlines, gaining broad clinical experience. She has since settled in Melbourne to be closer to her loved ones
Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Naseem has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry with the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners.
With her empathetic nature, clinical expertise and dedication to patient care, Naseem is a highly valued member of our team.

Dr. David Abdelmalek
Dr David Abdelmalek is a dentist with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, veneers, and restorative dental treatments. He is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalised, high-quality dental care.
Dr David has gained extensive experience working across several established dental practices, where he developed strong skills in restorative dentistry, smile design, and surgical procedures. His approach to dentistry focuses on delivering excellent clinical outcomes while ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their treatment journey.
Known for his calm and friendly manner, Dr David takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns and goals before creating a customised treatment plan. Whether patients are seeking general dental care, cosmetic improvements, or a full smile makeover, his goal is to provide results that are both natural-looking and long-lasting.
Dr David completed an 18-month Diploma of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, further advancing his expertise in cosmetic dentistry, smile design, veneers, and rehabilitative treatments.
He is also the founder of The Veneer Studio, a cosmetic dentistry brand dedicated to veneer treatments and smile transformations. The Veneer Studio now operates out of MODA Dental Clinic, allowing patients access to advanced cosmetic dental services in a modern, patient-focused environment.
At MODA Dental Clinic, Dr David provides a wide range of treatments including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, veneers, and restorative dental care, helping patients improve both their oral health and smile confidence.

Debbie
Most recently, she served as a manager of a busy Intensive Care Unit in Melbourne. Holding a Masters of Public Health, Debbie is deeply passionate about cultivating a positive team culture, ensuring that both staff and patients experience a supportive, collaborative environment.
As the Practice Manager at MODA, Debbie is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring everything runs seamlessly and efficiently. She works closely with the team to maintain a high standard of care and customer service, creating an environment where patients feel comfortable and well cared for.
Debbie is also the wife of our principal dentist, Dr. David. They’ve been happily married since 2022 and recently welcomed their baby boy, Levi, in 2024. When she’s not working, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, staying active with Pilates, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and catching up with friends.

Annika
As our Dental Assistant and Practice Coordinator at MODA Dental Clinic, Annika plays a vital role in the smooth running of the practice. She manages day-to-day operations, coordinates appointments, oversees patient communications, and ensures the clinic maintains the highest standards of care and efficiency. Her organizational skills, leadership, and ability to keep everything running seamlessly make her an invaluable part of our team.
Outside the clinic, Annika loves spending time with her husband, their energetic three-year-old daughter, and their two golden retrievers, Frank and George.
Georgia
As a highly skilled Dental Assistant, she works closely with our clinicians to ensure each appointment runs smoothly, from preparing treatment rooms to supporting patients before, during, and after their procedures.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can find Georgia planning her next trip, spending time with her family, or trying out the latest restaurants in Melbourne.
